Our story
Hi, I'm Jantine, proud new owner of Australian Trading Co.
Originally founded in 2019 by Peter and Katelyn, who spotted a gap in the Canadian market and decided to do something about it.
This brand got me through early motherhood in a new country, and I'm excited to be a part of its next chapter.

I've loved Bonds Wondersuits since Dylan came along. Soft, stretchy, easy 3am diaper changes, and they survived every wash. When I moved from South Africa to Canada during COVID with my newborn son, I needed to find the next size up and that is when I discovered Australian Trading Co. I became a loyal customer straight away.

When my youngest Matthew arrived in 2023, many of Dylan's hand-me-downs were ready and waiting. But Matthew needed a few fun prints of his own (obviously!).
And that's where my story takes a turn.
I have spent my career in retail, working in analytics and business strategy, always with a quiet dream of one day doing it for myself. When the opportunity came up to take over Australian Trading Co., it felt like the natural fit. I was already a customer, and a strong believer in the product.
Today, we're proud to continue to bring Australia's iconic babywear brand directly to Canadian families (no hidden duties, no import surprises, no fine print). Just great Zippys, delivered to your door.
